Creating questions in the question library

The question library stores all the questions to be used for continuous performance programs.

  1. Select Employee Engagement > Pulse > Setup > Question Library.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Question
    Specify the question.
    Response Type
    Select a response type from the list.
    • Short Text: Text for up to 100 characters
    • Long Text: Text for up to 250 characters
    • Yes No: Yes or No
    • Yes No Text Yes or No and a text description
    • List: Selection from a list of values
  4. Click Save.
  5. If you selected List for the Response Type, follow these steps to add each list value:
    1. In the Appraisal List Value section, click Create.
    2. Specify a description.
    3. Click Save or Save and New.
  6. To add the question to a pulse survey program:
    1. Right-click the question and select Add.
    2. Select the pulse survey program.
    3. Click Submit.
