Defining appraisal text for appraisal forms
You can define text on the appraisal form that is displayed on the header page of an employee performance appraisal. The text is based on the stage of the appraisal process. It is also based on whether the appraisal is a self appraisal or a manager appraisal.
- To add default organizational text, select Default Organization Appraisal Text on the appraisal form Rules tab. Text defined at the organization level is added by default when you save the appraisal form. You can then modify any appraisal text that does not work for the appraisal form. If you do not select Default Organization Appraisal Text , you can specify appraisal text or leave any or all of the appraisal states blank.
- Optionally, you can define appraisal text for any, none, or all of the possible appraisal text states. You can also use a mix of form-level and organization-level appraisal text for an appraisal.
- To accept the default organization text but clear the text in some places, save the form with the Default Organization Appraisal Text rule selected. Then, clear the check box for Default Organization Appraisal Text rule, make your changes, and save the form.
