Appraisal approval and acknowledgment
Depending on the appraisal, the approval and acknowledgment process can vary.
Optionally, upline approval may be required. If it is required, there are two options for how the appraisal is routed. An appraisal can follow the employee’s manager structure. The appraisal is routed first to their manager’s manager, then back to the employee. An appraisal can also follow the appraisal owner's manager structure. Approval follows the owner's current manager structure regardless of the employee’s direct manager.
Additionally, manager or employee acknowledgment and comments may be required. This topic describes the various scenarios for routing.
