Third-party section calculation
If a form contains a third-party section, the manager or administrator is asked to specify or import a maximum score and a third-party score. The third-party score can be obtained from a third-party performance tool. To be included in overall calculations, the third-party section must be assigned a weight.
- The third-party score is divided by the maximum third-party score.
- The result is multiplied by the number of levels on the overall rating scale. The result is displayed on the appraisal summary in text and graph, on the same rating scale as the overall rating scale.
Example
Score | Maximum third-party score | |
---|---|---|
Third-party score | 40 | 50 |
Third-party section non-weighted percent calculation |
40/50 Total = 0.8 (80%) |
|
Section non-weighted score based on an overall rating scale with 5 levels | 0.8*5 = 4 |
