Enabling rating distribution
- Select Set Up > Performance > Organization Configuration.
- Click Details.

In the Rating Distribution section, specify this
information:
- Levels

Specify the number of rating levels that are displayed as performance indicators in the rating distribution chart’s X-axis.
For example, you can specify four levels, then you can label each level in the Description field in rating distribution.
- Rating Scale

Specify the rating scale that is used as the basis for the calculation of normalized rating distribution score.
Before you can specify the rating scale in rating distribution, ensure that rating scales are defined.
- Appraisal Form

Select the appraisal form that is used as a template for the appraisal.
Before you can specify the appraisal form in rating distribution, ensure that appraisal form is defined.
- Begin
- Specify the date that the appraisal begins.
- End
- Specify the date that the appraisal ends.
- Click Rating Distribution. This feature is available only if the levels and the rating scale are specified.

Specify this information:
- Rating Level Range Begin
- Specify the numeric value on the X-axis at which this level starts. For example, if the range for this level is 0-2.99, then set the Rating Level Range Begin value to 0.
- Rating Level Range End
- Specify the numeric value on the X-axis at which this level ends. For example, if the range for this level is 0-2.99, then set the Rating Level Range End value to 2.99.
- Description
- Provide a description that corresponds to the rating level numbers. For example,
you can use these labels as the description for each rating
level:
- Needs Improvement
- Meets Expectations
- Excel
- Excel More
If you leave this field blank, then the rating level number that corresponds to the scale is displayed.
- Click Save.
