Creating reminders for overdue appraisals

Before creating the reminders for overdue appraisals, search for appraisals that are not yet acknowledged.

Set the appraisals to Cancelled or Incomplete to exclude them from the appraisals that are set to have overdue reminders when the action Create Reminder For Overdue Appraisals is run.

You must specify the number of overdue days on when to notify the user in the Overdue Reminders Days field.

You must specify the number of days that reminders are sent to the user in the Send Reminder up to Days field in organization configuration.

The notifications are sent to the users whose appraisals are overdue and the status is Draft, In Progress, Ready For Review, and Pending Acknowledgment.
  1. Select Appraisals > Processes > Create Appraisal Reminders For Overdue.
  2. Specify this information:
    Appraisal Email Template
    Select an appraisal email template.
    Employee Group
    Specify the group of employees to whom the reminder is sent. You cannot specify both employee group and resources.
    Resources
    Specify individual resources. You can specify up to 10 employees. You cannot specify both employee group and resources.
  3. Click Submit.

    The notification is sent to the person who has a pending action. The link in the notification directs the user to the appraisal.

    If the appraisal has a corresponding work unit, the notification is sent with access to the work unit where the user can approve, reject, or acknowledge the appraisal. Available actions depend on the user role.
