Assigning a position site administrator role to a manager

Position site administrators have several tasks in the system, including requesting position budgets, monitoring position budget changes, and monitoring position budget variances.

A position site administrator must also be a manager. Tasks for the position site administrator can only be accessed from the Manager process board.

Assign the role of PositionSiteAdministrator_ST

Note:
The actor must also be assigned to the DirectSupervisor_ST role.

Assign the actor to the organization units that the manager is requesting and monitoring budgets for.
1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Actor Organization Unit > Actor Org Unit Levels Setup.
2. On the Actor Org Units tab, click Define.
3. Specify this information:
  
  Effective Date
  
  Specify the date on which this actor or organization relationship is effective.
  
  Organization Unit
  
  Select the organization unit for the actor to have access.
  
  Note:
  The actor also has access to all organization units that report up to this selected organization unit in your organization. For example, organization units 2, 3, and 4 might report up to organization unit 1. If an actor is assigned access to organization unit 1, then they automatically have access to organization units 2, 3, and 4.
  
  Actor
  
  Select the actor for which you are creating this assignment.
Click Submit.
Repeat these steps as needed for more organization units. An actor can be assigned to multiple branches within an organization by creating an actor/organization unit relationship for each branch.
Verify that the newly configured position site administrator has access to position budgets.
1. Log in as the manager that you assigned to the role for the position site administrator.
2. Select Manager > Acquire Talent.
3. Verify that the Position Budgets menu item is displayed on the Acquire Talent menu.
