Appointments

Appointments are on-site events that the organization schedules to assist employees in complying with a component. Health administrators and health-facility managers can schedule an appointment for one employee or many employees. The appointment date, time and location are automatically sent to employees by email.

You can make a group appointment, which enables you to update or cancel appointments for many or all employees for a health component.

Note: 

For group appointments, you set up a pre-defined appointment when you assign the component. Always use a pre-defined appointment for group scheduling. A pre-defined appointment is an appointment for which you previously specified a date, time, and location. Pre-defined appointments are automatically emailed to a group of employees at the time of assignment.

You can perform these additional tasks that are related to appointments:

  • Viewing all appointments for employees
  • Send a pre-defined appointment to one employee, for example to a new hire

  • Send a one-time (unique) appointment to one employee
  • Update group or individual appointments
  • Cancel group or individual appointments

Each action except viewing causes an email to be sent to the employees who are affected. The date and time cannot be changed for a single employee for a pre-defined appointment. A new appointment must be selected.
