Responding to nearly due or overdue components

Perform this task in response to an alert that notified you that components are nearly due or overdue.
  1. Sign in as Health & Safety Management or Health & Safety Facility Management.
  2. Select Occupational Health > Monitor Health Components > Overdue Components.
    If you signed in as Health & Safety Facility Management, then use the left menu to select the facility whose assignments are in review.
  3. Select the Overdue tab.
    Or, select the Approaching Due Dates tab.
  4. Select the check box for a record.
  5. Optionally, click an action to perform on the record.

    To view these actions, you might be required to click More Actions, which is indicated by an ellipsis:

    • Attach To Incident - select this action to mark the component as a follow-up task in response to a safety incident.

    • Change Dates - select this action to change the due date, completion date, expiration date, or renewal date for the component. For example, you can change the due date to give the employee more time to comply.
    • Complete - select this action to put the assignment into a status of Complete.

    • Refuse - select this action if an employee has indicated refusal but lacks access to the system to record the refusal. A facility manager or administrator can refuse on behalf of the employee in this situation.
    • Reminder - select this to send a reminder to the employee. The cumulative list of reminders is displayed on the Contact History tab of the component detail.
    • Set Appointment - select this action to create an appointment for the selected employee.

    • Waive - select this action if the component is no longer applicable.
  6. Optionally, open a record to view assignment details.
    You can create and review notes and contacts.
