Completing a component
- Sign in as Health & Safety Management.
- Select Occupational Health > Monitor Health Components > Health Components.
- Select the Pending Approval tab.
- Select the check box for the row that shows the component that was completed by the employee.
- Click Approve.

Specify this information:
- Reason
- Select an action reason.
- Component
- Confirm the name of the component.
- Result Type
- Confirm the type of completion that is required for this component.
- Actual Result
- Select the results of the component.
- Completion Date
- Select the date when completion occurred.
- Expiration Date
- This field displays the expiration date that was set up for this component. You can override this value for a component only, and not for a series.
- Renewal Date
- This field displays the renewal date that was set up for this component. You can override this value for a component only, and not for a series.
- Lot Number
- If the component requires a lot number, then you must complete this field. Select from the list of lot numbers that are associated with the component. If a suitable option is not available, then you can add one.
- Injection Site
- Optionally, select from a list of injection sites. If a suitable option is not available, then you can add one.
- Documentation Received
- This field is displayed only if the component requires documentation before it can be completed. Select the check box if you received the document.
- Cleared
- The default value of this check box is that it is selected. If the value is not changed, then the employee is cleared to return to work due to the completion of the component. If the employee should not be cleared, then de-select the check box. This check box is displayed only if clearance was configured for inclusion on this component.
- Clinician / Other Clinician
- You can:
- Specify the clinician name in the Other Clinician text field, or
- Select a clinician from the list who completed the component. If a suitable option is not available, then you can add one.
- Treatment Facility
- Specify the healthcare facility where this component was completed.
- Notes
- Optionally, use the Attachment and Comments fields to provide additional information.
- Click Save.
