Aligning organizational goals with other organizational goals

You can align an organizational goal from your own organization unit with another organizational goal from an organization unit higher in the organization structure. HR administrators can perform the same action for any organization unit below the top organization unit.

The organizational goal you align to can be in Draft or Finalized status.

  1. Select the organization unit where the goal is defined.
    1. In Manager space, select Manage Goals > Goals.
    2. Expand the organization structure to locate and select your organization unit.
  2. Select the organizational goal to align and select Actions > Align To Organizational Goal.

    This action is not available for cascaded organizational goals or if the organizational goal has already been aligned with another organizational goal.

  3. On the Align To Organizational pane, select the organizational goal to align, and click OK.
  4. To verify that the goal is aligned, open your goal and click the Goal Source tab. The aligned goal is displayed on this tab.
