Other raters for employee reviews
Appraisal form rules define whether other raters besides the manager are requested to submit appraisals, and who can request other raters (the employee or the manager).

If employees are allowed to select their own other raters, the process starts with them. When the performance appraisal is made available, employees receive a notification and an action request in their inbasket, select their other raters, then submit. The request is then routed to their managers' inbasket where the managers can approve or reject the submitted other raters, or select their own other raters.

If employees are not allowed to select other raters, the process starts and ends with the manager.

A direct manager, upline manager, or appraisal owner can request peer feedback for their active appraisals.
