Cancelling a registration

If you are using Infor Learning Management, you must access the Infor Learning Management portal to cancel an event registration. Select Develop Employees > Employee Learning, and click Manage. You can click Courses to view the direct reports registered for a course and cancel their event registration, or you can "impersonate a user" and cancel a specific employee's course event registration. You can then register the direct report for another event for the same course, or cancel the course (activity) registration all together. You can cancel confirmed or wait listed registrations at any time and for any reason.

Cancelling a registration does not cancel the activity. You can still register the employee for another session. This is different from cancelling an activity, which cancels both the activity and associated registrations.

You can cancel a registration from your Development Tasks list, or from the employee's development plan or profile.

To cancel a registration

  1. Select Manager > To Do > Development Tasks.

    or select Develop Activities > Development Plans > Activities tab.

  2. Open the activity on the All Actions tab.
  3. On the Registrations tab, select the session and click Cancel Registration.
  4. Specify the cancellation reason.
  5. Add comments.

    If your activity no longer has a confirmed or wait-listed registration, the status returns to Needs Registration. You can register the employee for a new session.

  6. Click OK.
