Calculating employees' percent fit for their current position
You can compare the employee's talent profile with the success profile that was defined for the position to which the employee is assigned. The profile includes skills, competencies, education, and credentials.
You have no control over what qualifications are used in calculating the percent fit for an employee's current position. The organization's percent-fit settings determine the types of qualifications to be included in the calculations. The settings also determine if the calculation includes only qualifications that are configured as Essential.
For example, let's assume that the Networking skill is configured as Desired (but not Essential) for the position. Let's also assume that the organization's Percent Fit settings exclude non-essential skills. In this case, Networking is not included in the comparison between the position's qualifications and the employee's qualifications.
