Competency management qualification types
After you set up qualifications, you can use them to track your resources' competencies, skills, education, credentials, and accomplishments. You can attach qualifications to jobs or positions. You can match resource or candidate qualifications against those requirements of the job and assess whether a candidate is qualified.
The components set up for competency management are used throughout the Infor HR Talent.
- HR administrators assign qualifications to jobs and positions.
- Managers track and maintain their resources as part of the resource's profile.
- Employees view and update their qualifications on their profile.

Qualifications are also used in Succession Management, and indirectly in Learning and Development, where trainers usually base their training courses on required skills and proficiencies.
