Credential Noncompliance report

The Credential Noncompliance report provides alerts regarding employees with credential issues that could make them ineligible to perform their job duties.

Some employees are required to have valid credentials or licenses to perform their jobs or positions. License noncompliance can result in large fines for employers.

Noncompliance is determined through a fit analysis that compares employee credentials to position credentials for all employee work assignments. Noncompliance is determined as of the date and time the report is run. The data is stored in the EmployeeCredentialNoncompliance business class.

If an employee is noncompliant, a message is displayed on the At A Glance form on the employee's profile. This message is visible to employees, managers, and administrators. It is also visible to generalists who can access the employee's profile.

Use this procedure to create the report:

  1. Select Administrator > To Do > Qualification Tasks > Credential Noncompliance.
  2. Click Create Credential Noncompliance Report.
  3. Specify this information:
    Position
To run the report for a specific position, select a position. To run the report for all positions, leave this field blank.
    Compare Only Essential Qualifications
Select this check box to run the report for jobs or positions that are categorized as essential.
  4. Click Submit.

The report lists all employees that meet the noncompliance criteria. The reason for noncompliance is displayed in the Noncompliance Reason column.

    • Missing Credential: The employee does not have the job or position credential.
    • Not Credential Match: The employee does not have the required credential and source combination.
    • Credential Expired: The employee has the credential, but it has expired.
    • Credential Completed: The employee has the credential, but it is marked as completed.

The report has links that can be used to access and correct position or employee data.

If a change is made that makes the employee compliant, administrators, generalists, and managers can delete the record. Select the record from the list and click Delete.

To monitor triggers for the report, administrators can select Async Administrator and click the Active Now tab to view the HCM Qualification Default Queue.
