Assigning credentials to a position

This information can be added if a position requires a specific license or certification from an external accreditation organization that is subject to renewal, such as a driver's license or a pharmacist's board certification. If the license or certification is not subject to renewal, it can still be added to the position.

The credentials defined for the job are added to the position by default. You cannot remove or change credentials defined for the job. You can add credentials to the position. You can also add a credential that is already defined on the job but change some of the parameters. For example, a Board certification might be an asset for a job but essential for a position.

Note: You can also copy credentials from an existing position.
  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Jobs And Positions > Positions.
  2. Open the position.
  3. On the Qualifications tab, click Create in the Credentials section.
  4. In the Credential field, select the credential and click Save.
If a credential source was defined for the credential, it is automatically added to the Credential Source field.
