Assigning credentials to a job

This information can be added if a job requires or desires a specific license or certification from an external accreditation organization that is subject to renewal, such as a driver's license or a pharmacist's board certification. If the license or certification is not subject to renewal, it can still be added to this job.

Note: You can also copy credentials from an existing job.
  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Jobs And Positions > Jobs.
  2. Open the job.
  3. On the Qualifications tab, click Create in the Credentials section.
  4. In the Credential field, select the credential and click Save. If a credential source was defined for the credential, it defaults into the Credential Source field.
  5. Specify this information as needed:
    Effective Date
    Select the effective date.
    Credential Source
To select a different qualification source for this job, or if the credential source was not defined, select a credential source

For example, a drivers license from Ireland would have a credential source of Ireland.

Note: If multiple credential sources are possible, leave this field blank. It can be filled by a candidate or recruiter at the resource level.
    Active
Select this check box to make the credential active. The status is Active by default. To inactivate the credential, clear the check box.
    Essential to the Job
If the credential is essential to the job, select this check box.
    Equivalent Experience or Other Comments
If your organization accepts equivalent experience instead of the credential, you can specify that information in this field or specify other comments.
  6. Click Save.
