Job country attributes
Depending on the laws and regulations in the country where your organization is located, you may be required to set up country-specific attributes to assign to jobs. You can use these attributes to collect information for regulatory reports or you can use country attributes for any country-specific information to associate with a job.
Note: In a multinational organization,
a job might be associated with attributes specific to more than one country.
Examples:
- Canada
- National Occupational Class (NOC)
- Gender Class
- United States
- EEO-1
- VETS 4212 and VETS 100
- Census
Country-specific attributes include these components:
- A country (a standard ISO country code)
- An attribute category, which represents the regulatory report for which information is collected (for example, EEO-1 in the United States or NOC in Canada)
- Attribute codes
Examples of attribute codes for EEO-1 are Professionals, Technicians, or Workers.
Note: A job can be associated with more than one attribute category (for example EEO-1 and Gender Class). The job can be assigned to only one attribute code in each category. - Attribute sub codes
Examples of sub codes for the EEO-1 code Professionals are 095 (Registered Nurse) or 113 (Dietician).
Note: A job can be assigned to only one attribute sub code in each attribute category/attribute code combination.
