Automatic job-position synchronization
To automatically create a single position for a single job, you can use the automate position creation with the Auto Create Position for Job field on the Organization form. You can change the value of this field at any time for future jobs.
- If you select Yes, a single position is always
created that is synchronized to the job when you create a job.
The position can be de-synchronized later if you want to add another position or change the name or active status of the position without changing the job.
- If you select No, no position is created when you create a job. You must create all positions manually. After you create the first position, you have the option to synchronize the job to that position. If you create more than one position, this option is not available.
- If you select Sometimes, you can decide whether to synchronize a position to a job at the job level. Any time you create a job, you can select the option to create a synchronized position automatically. If you do not select that option, you must manually create the positions.
