Using Filtered Selects Mismatch for ethnicity types
- Sign in as Administrator.
- Select Utilities > Validation Tools > Filtered Selects Mismatch.
- Click the Ethnicity tab.
- Click Create Ethnicity Mismatch Report to rebuild the report for your organization.
- Click Submit.

Validate that there are no failed triggers.

As an Async Administrator, click the Queue
View tab and select the default queue for your
organization. For example,
DefaultQueue<tenant>_HCM

In the Triggers table, in the Name column, specify the name of the
mismatched report to search for the report. For example,
EmployeeCodeMismatchReport.Ethnicity
.

As an Async Administrator, click the Queue

organization. For example,
- As an Administrator, select Utilities > Validation Tools > Filtered Selects Mismatch.
- Click the Ethnicity tab.
- Click Refresh.
- Click the link in the Ethnicity Type column.

Verify that the Restrict Selection By
Country check box is selected. If not, then select the
Restrict Selection By Country
check box, specify an effective date, and click Save.
The Restrict Selection By Country check box can also be accessed by selecting Administrator > Set Up > Resource Components > Personal Information > Ethnicity Types.
- To add a valid relationship, in the Valid Country table, click Create.
- In the Country field, specify a country.
- Click Save.

To add self identification, follow these steps:
- Verify that the Allow Self Identification check box is selected. If not, then select the Allow Self Identification check box, specify an effective date, and click Save.
- In the Self Identification Display field, specify a description for the identification.
- Click Save.
