Positions

Infor HR Talent provides two methods for creating positions:

You can configure the system (in the organization) to create a new position whenever you create a job. Positions can be created automatically all of the time or you can select whether to create the position at the time that you create the job.

You can create the new position and assign a job to it.

Note:

When you automate position creation, the position's Short Description, Description, and Active fields are synchronized to the corresponding job fields for as long as the position remains synchronized to the job. You can modify any other field and add other position-specific information. You can also remove the synchronization between the job and position and also change the previously synchronized fields.
