Creating automatic emails

Select Administrator > Set Up > Email > Email Automation. Review all of the possible actions that can trigger automated
notifications and decide which ones to use.
Note: The available Personal Information actions depend on the organization's configuration.

On Administrator > Set Up > Email > Email Templates, create the templates to use for each action.
Note:
You can use one template for more than one action if it is generic enough to apply to all of the actions. For example, if you use {RequesterEmail} in the From line, you can use the same template to inform a resource that either a manager or administrator validated a qualification.

On Administrator > Set Up > Email > Email Automation, select Automatic Email and an email template for each action that will
trigger email notifications. See Configuring email automation for HR Talent.
The result is that each time a resource initiates an action for which email automation is configured, emails are sent to all the "To" and "Cc" resources defined on the email template for that action.
- Optionally, at Administrator > Set Up > Email > Email Automation > Email Change Confirmation, select Automatic Email and an email template for each action that will trigger an email confirmation notification when a change is requested for each action. This is useful as a safety measure for things like changes to direct deposit information.
