Typical roles
Landmark security determines the roles and what access each role has to various areas of Infor HR Talent. These are typical roles:
- Employee/resource
All employees have access, at a minimum, to the employee view, so that they can check their own data and apply for internal positions. Non-employee resources may not have access to the employee view, depending on their security.
- Direct manager
Direct managers have a manager view of the resources that report directly to them. A manager must be defined in the manager structure.
- Indirect manager
An indirect manager can be any manager role that is defined in the manager structure. Typically, an indirect manager is assigned for a specific project or part of a resource's work assignment.
- Compensation analyst
The compensation analyst sets up the compensation programs in Compensation, determines who is eligible, what pool of money is eligible for pay raises, etc..
- Recruiter
The recruiter has access to the Talent Acquisition Recruiter Dashboard. On the Recruiter Dashboard, recruiters can perform all of the tasks that are associated with recruiting. From creating a requisition to posting jobs on the career site, to processing applications, and to hiring and transitioning a candidate to a new position.
- Administrator
The administrator can be a superuser who has access to the entire Infor HR Talent suite or an HR administrator who has access only to the HR setup.
- Payroll administrator
Payroll administrators are responsible for setting up, configuring, and operating HR Payroll.
