Copying branches of the manager structure

Use this procedure to copy a manager or manager structure branch under a different manager code.

  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Structure > Managers.
  2. On the Structures tab, highlight the top level of the branch to copy.
  3. From the Actions menu, select Copy This Branch.
  4. Select an effective date.
    Note: If you select an effective date that is later than today's date, the copy is not created until that date.
  5. Select the new manager under which to copy this manager in the Parent Manager Of The New Manager field.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Optionally, locate the branch and rename it.
