Requesting to complete an education record

An education record can be added to your talent profile with a status of In Process. For example, you may be hired shortly before you graduate. When you complete the education, you can request your manager to change your education record to Complete.

  1. Sign in as Employee.
  2. Select My Profile > Talent Profile.
    Or

    Select To Do > Self Report Qualifications > By Qualification.

  3. On Education, open the row for the education record to complete.
    This row has a check mark in the In Process column.
  4. Select Request To Complete.
  5. Specify the completion month and year. Optionally, select a reason code, attach a document, or add comments.
    If possible, provide the institution's address to help the request approver to confirm the credential.
  6. Click Submit.

    A colored alert is displayed in the In Process column. It is removed after your manager or administrator changes your education record status to Complete.

  7. To cancel your request, select the education record and click Cancel Request To Complete.
