Modifying contracts using amendments and addenda
Employment contracts in Approved status and employee contracts in Accepted status can be modified using the Amendment and Addendum modification types.
Amendments can be used to modify existing information on a contract. Addendums can be used to add information to the contract that did not previously exist. Amendments and Addendums can be made for the employment contract and its associated employee contracts, or for a single employee contract. An amendment or addendum added at the employment contract level does not affect employee contracts that have been individually modified with details that differ from the associated employment contract. After an employment contract or employee contract has been modified with an amendment or addendum, the employment contract administrator can require employees to re-acknowledge the contract. Employment contract administrators can also track the changes that are made to modified contracts.
