Disabling employment contracts

  1. Select HR Administration > Administration > Set Up > Structure > Organizations.

    or

    Select Employment Contract Administrator > Set Up > Components.

  2. Select and open the organization record for which to disable employment contracts.
  3. On the Configuration tab, clear the Employment Contracts check box in the Global HR Modules section. Existing employee contracts are not changed and can be viewed on work assignments.

    The Employment Contracts (Legacy) check box enables the legacy functionality for employment contracts. It does not affect the employment contracts functionality that is described in this guide.

    If contract pay details or open contract pay time records exist, the employment contracts module cannot be disabled.
