Email templates, rules, and notifications

Employment contract administrators can create email templates and send email notifications based on those templates for a variety of reasons. You can use email notifications to inform employees, managers, or other users of the status of the employee contract and alert them to actions they should complete. There are five standard templates for email notifications that you can access by loading delivered content at System Administration > Utilities > Delivered Content. You can also send a single email notification.

Employment contract administrators can create rules that control when email notifications are sent. You can create default email automation rules that apply to all employment contracts within a single HR organization. You can also create email automation rules for a specific employment contract that override the default rules set for the HR organization. Automated emails are sent based on the status of the employment contract.
