Canceling an employment contract

  1. Select HR Administration > Contracts > Employment Contracts.

    or

    Select Employment Contract Administrator > Employment Contracts.

  2. Select the employment contract to cancel, and then click the More Actions menu.
  3. Select Cancel Contract.
    Note: When an employment contract is canceled, it is automatically inactivated. Employment contracts in a status of Draft, In Negotiation, or Pending Approval can be canceled. Approved status employment contracts with associated employee contracts cannot be canceled.
  4. Optionally, specify a cancellation reason.
  5. Click Submit.
    The employment contract's status is set to Cancelled.
