Releasing distributed budget amounts to managers
Note: Not applicable if you
are using Infor Learning Management.
For managers to view the budget amounts allocated to them, you must release the budget. Being able to view their budget helps managers to make decisions on which development activities they can request or approve for their direct reports. It can also give them a chance to request changes to their budget allocations if they do not match their needs. You can repeat this action multiple times as you continue to make adjustments to total or distributed budget amounts.
You can release distributed budget amounts to all managers at once, or to one manager at a time. You can unrelease distributed budget amounts for specific managers, modify them, then release them again.
Note: Managers do not see
the calculated budget amounts. They see the actual budget amounts, which are the budget
amounts that the learning manager actually allocates to them, which may be different from
the originally calculated budget amounts.
