Request origins (learning budgets only)

You can use request origins to track the underlying process or reason behind a resource development activity request. For example, a manager may have identified a knowledge gap as a result of a performance review or when analyzing a resource's qualifications for a promotion. You could define Performance Analysis and Succession Analysis as two possible request origins. You can define as many resource activity origins as needed.

Only managers, mentors, or learning managers can specify a request origin on a resource development activity.
