Budget categories
Note: Not applicable if you are using Infor Learning Management.
A budget category is a required component of a development budget. It can be used by one budget within a given development period. A budget category represents a type of budget and provides default calculation methods and calculation percentages for all budgets that use the same budget category. Each organization must determine their own budget categories. For example, an organization might have a personal development budget, a strategic alignment budget, and a transversal budget for development activities required for everyone in the company (such as ethics or safety training). French organizations might have a DIF budget.
