Waiving resource checklist components
If a resource has already fulfilled the requirements of a checklist component by other methods or in another location, you can waive the checklist component. For example, a resource may have transferred from another position where the same skill or competency was required and validated.
You can waive resource checklist components in any status except Complete. You can also revert a waived component to its previous status.
Note: Managers and mentors can also waive checklist components, if
the checklist components are defined to allow them to validate (and waive). Only learning
managers and administrators can revert waived checklist components.
