Viewing and adjusting finalized budgets at the manager level

Note: Not applicable if you are using Infor Learning Management.

You can view and adjust finalized budget at the distributed budget (manager) level.

  1. Select Development Planning > Learning Budgets > Implement Budgets.
  2. Click the Manager Budgets tab.
  3. Expand the manager structure to locate and select the manager in which you are interested.
  4. On the Budget Details tab, open the budget to view.

    This information displays:

    Actual Budget Amount

    The manager's budget amount as defined at the time the budget was finalized.

    Actual Spent

    The total actual costs of all the development activity requests associated with the budget.

    Note: The Actual Totals balances reflect the actual costs for approved, complete, incomplete, rejected, or withdrawn development activity requests.
    Actual Remaining

    The actual amount still available to budget.

    Projected Spend

    The total projected costs of all the development activity requests associated with the distributed budget.

    Projected Remaining

    The projected amount still available for the budget.

    Requests

    The Requests tab lists all of the development activity requests for the distributed budget.

  5. To add a new development activity request, in the Requests region click Actions > Assign Activity. See Assigning out-of-budget development activities to resources.
  6. To view a development activity request detail, open the development activity request.
  7. To view or update the costs for a development activity request, click the Costs tab.
    • If the request is still in Requested status (submitted after the budget was finalized), you can add estimated costs.

    • If the request is in Approved status, you can add actual costs.

  8. To view rolled up budget amounts for a manager (that is the total of the manager budget and subordinate budgets), highlight the manager, and click the Rolled Up Budget Amounts tab.
