Development activity topic
Development activity topics are used as an organizer for the catalog of development activities. They represent the subject matters of the development activities. Users can search the catalog by keyword, or they can browse through the topics.
Development activities can be associated with multiple topics. For example, you could find "English for Business" under the topic "English" or under the topic "Languages."
A development activity does not require a topic. You can create a development activity without a topic and add a topic at the time that you are organizing the catalog.
Note: If you use Infor Learning Management, you will be able to select a default topic for the
development activities (courses) defined in Infor Learning Management
during setup. If you do, when the development activities are imported from Infor Learning Management to Development Planning,
they will be automatically assigned to the default topic. You will be able to assign a
different topic to them in Development Planning.
