Adding checklist task components to checklists
- On the Components tabs, select New > Create Checking Task Component.

Specify this information.
- Checklist Task
- Required. Select the checklist task that resources assigned to this checklist must complete.
- Component Group
- You can select a component group for this component.
- Required
- If you want the resource to acknowledge the checklist
task when completed, select this check box.Note: For checklist task components, this could be the only form of validation needed.
- Managers
- Select the Managers check box if you want managers to validate this component for this checklist.
- Mentors
- Select the Mentors check box if you want mentors to validate this component for this checklist.
- Preferred Validation Method
- Required. Select the preferred validation method.Note: A component can have several validation methods, but only one can be preferred. After the component is added, you will be able to add more validation methods and make another validation method Preferred.
- Click OK.
