Update option results

  • If you selected Default Grant Information Only, then the system processes the equity records this way:
    • Applies the values for the Grant Date, Grant Price, Vesting Schedule, Vesting Start Date, and Grant Expiration Date that are on the applicable planning rule.
    • The system converts the amount to units if these situations apply:
      • The equity grant is awarded as an amount.
      • A value is specified in the Convert To Units field of the Equity Grant Information for the planning rule.
    • The selected equity grants remain on the Pending tab. You can make changes and then finalize the records with the Finalize Only option.
  • If you selected Default Grant Information And Finalize, then the system processes the equity records this way:
    • Applies values for the Grant Date, Grant Price, Vesting Schedule, Vesting Start Date, and Grant Expiration Date that are on the applicable planning rule.
    • The system converts the amount to units if these situations apply:
      • The equity grant is awarded as an amount.
      • A value is specified in the Convert To Units field of the Equity Grant Information for the planning rule.
    • The selected equity grants are moved to the Finalized tab. The Finalized status means that the grant information can be interfaced to the third-party grant administration system.
  • If you selected the Finalize Only option, then the system processes the equity records this way:
    • The selected equity grants are finalized with the same information that they currently include.
    • The selected equity grants are moved to the Finalized tab without any reference to the planning rule equity information.
