Finalizing multiple compensation award pay rate changes

With this procedure, you can finalize all pay rate changes that are pending. Or, you can finalize pay rate changes for an employee group or a range of employment IDs, for a range of update dates.

  1. Select Compensation > Awarding > Awards > Process Pay Rate Changes.
  2. On the Process Pay Rate Changes form, specify this information:
    Resource Group
    Specify a resource group for which to finalize pay rate changes, or specify a range of employment IDs. You cannot specify both.

    If you do not specify a resource group or a range, then the action runs for all resources.

    Employment ID Begin, End
    Specify a range of employment IDs for which to finalize pay rate changes, or specify a resource group. You cannot specify both.

    If you do not specify a resource group or a range, then the action runs for all resources.

    Update Begin Date, End Date
    Specify a range of update dates to finalize only the records whose pay rate was updated within that date range.
    Include Pending Records
    Select one or both of these check boxes: Include Pending Records or Include Error Records.

    If you select only this check box, then the action only includes pending records. If you select both, then the action also includes corrected error records.

    Include Error Records
    Select one or both of these check boxes: Include Pending Records or Include Error Records.

    If you select only this check box, then the action only includes corrected error records. If you select both, then pending records and corrected error records are included.

    Reason Code
    Select the reason for running this action.
    Comment
    Optionally, specify comments.
  3. Click OK to run this action immediately. To schedule the action to run at a later date or on a defined schedule such as nightly, click the Schedule button.
