Updating work assignment rates with new step and grade version rates

When you create a new version of a step and grade schedule, the new rates are not updated automatically on work assignments that are associated with a step and grade schedule. Follow these steps to update the work assignment rates.

  1. Select Compensation > Set Up > Step and Grade Schedules > Step and Grade Schedules.
  2. Select the step and grade schedule to update work assignments with.
  3. Select Actions > Update Work Assignment Pay Rates.
  4. Optionally, select a reason code.
  5. Click OK to run the action immediately, or click Schedule to run the action at a later date or on a regular schedule. For example, nightly.
