Creating market survey data

You must run this action to create the aggregate and incumbent reports that you can export to your survey provider for analysis.

  1. Select Compensation > Set Up > Market Survey Providers.

    or

    Select Compensation > Reports > Market Survey Reports > Market Salary Survey Reporting.

  2. On the Providers panel, select the provider and version date for which to create an incumbent report, and select Actions > Create Market Survey Data.
  3. Specify this information:
    Parameter As Of Date

    By default, this is the survey provider version date. You can change the date to run the report as of another date. The report spans the period that includes the year before the "as of" date plus the "as of" date itself.

    Eligibility Group

    Optional. You can run the report for a specific eligibility group. For example, you may want to run the report by location.

    The eligibility group must be defined in Compensation under Custom Groups. The business class must be WorkAssignment and the subject must be HCMGroupSalarySurvey.

    Year Of Hire Date

    Select the date to be used as the Hire Date on the Incumbent Report.

  4. Click OK to process the report immediately.

    or

    Click Schedule to schedule the report to run at a different time.

    You can check the progress of the action under My Actions > My Scheduled Actions.
