Configuring a process for runtime
Use this procedure for runtime configuration. This configuration affects the level of detail that is maintained in log files and the way in which notification about process execution occurs.
Note:
The process you configure must already be uploaded onto the system.
What are User, System, and Application Defined Processes?
Processes can be defined in several ways:
- User-defined: These are processes that have been created using Infor Process Designer at your site. After they have been successfully uploaded onto the server that runs Infor Process Automation, they are available for configuring.
- System-defined: These are processes that are delivered by the Infor Landmark Technology environment.
- Application-defined: These are processes that are delivered by an Infor
application such asInfor HR Talent. These processes are
business events such as, AddAddress, ChangePayRate, and BeginLeave. They can be considered
templates. Designers at your site can make changes to them.
Additional information about these processes is in your application documentation.
