Security setup

The configuration of a proxy requires security privileges.

• Actors with the ProxyGrantorAccess Security Class in the GEN data area can select the Proxyable Roles to assign to a Proxy. By default, the Admin, AuditLogAdmin, DirectSupervisor, and HiringManager roles are assigned ProxyGrantorAccess. Security administrators can assign ProxyGrantorAccess to other roles.
• The Grantors must be assigned a Proxyable Role before they can assign access to a Proxy.
• An actor requires security privileges to work as a Proxy. The access is granted by the ProxyUserRole security role. All Proxyable Role templates that are delivered use the manager space to perform the proxyable work. Actors who are not managers or administrators are given access to the applicable components of manager space as part of the proxyable role.
