Defining access for an actor with no organizational unit

This procedure defines access for an actor with no access in an organization unit. If the actor inherits access, use the override action instead.

To create or replace access for any actor and organization unit, see Assigning the actor to an organization unit.
To view or create organization units by actor, click the By Actor tab.
To view or create organization units by access level, click the By Access Level tab.
To process updates, click the Automatic Updates tab.

Select Administrator > Set Up > Actor Organization Unit > Actor Org Unit Levels Setup.
Click the By Org Unit tab.
Click Create.
Specify this information:

Effective Date

Select the effective date.

Actor

Select the actor for which you are creating this assignment.
Click Save.
