Understanding business context messages

A business context message is a JSON message that is sent from a screen, field or other user interface object for the purpose of establishing the current context. These messages can be used for many contextual purposes within Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le and for drillbacks.

Applications with context apps use business context messages to display online help and to determine the metrics and reports to display in the In-Context BI application when a certain screen is displayed.
