Configuring purge parameters

To enable the purge and anonymize features, a configuration parameter must be enabled.

  1. Sign in as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to the Administration Console.
  3. Select Configuration > Configuration Parameters.
  4. Set the Value to True for one of these configuration options:
    • Enable_Complete_Purge

      Enables the purge action for the Purge Actions Administrator to initiate the purge action for employees or external candidates and all related data.

      Note: Customers with Infor HR Talent integrated to Infor Financials and Supply Management or Infor HR Management (S3) must not select the Enable_Complete_Purge option. To prevent orphaned data in those applications, select either the Enable Anonymize Purge or the Enable Anonymize Only parameter.
    • Enable_Anonymize_Purge

      Enables the Purge Actions Administrator to initiate the anonymize and purge actions for employees and purge actions for external candidates.

      Note: Anonymize only applies to employee records. External candidate records can only be purged.
    • Enable_Anonymize_Only

      Enables the anonymize action for the Purge Actions Administrator to initiate the anonymize action for employees and purge actions for external candidates.

      This action anonymizes identifying information on employee record and related data.

      Note: Anonymize only applies to employee records. External candidate records are purged.
