Configuring organization access for actors

Use this procedure to configure organization access for actors in your system using actor context. No organization access is set up by default, so you must complete these steps for each actor in your system.

These steps are to set up access to actor context organization for a single actor. To set up access for multiple actors, consider creating a script to expedite the process. See the Landmark Utility Reference Guide for details about using the secadm utility, including how to create scripts for adding actor context.

  1. At a Landmark command prompt, specify this information:

    secadm actor ctxproperty add TMprodline HROrganization

    where TMprodline is your product line name.

  2. Specify this information:

    secadm actor context add actorName TMprodline HROrganization specificHROrgValue.

    Where actorName is the actor for which you are creating the actor context. Where TMprodline is your product line name. Where specificHROrgValue is the organization to which the actor is being given access.
