Enabling shared data in Infor HR Talent

These setup steps are required for multi-tenant environments, even if your Infor HR Talent solution is not implementing HR Payroll or Infor Financials and Supply Management.

Note: Once shared data is enabled, it cannot be disabled.

After you have entered your setup data in Infor Financials and Supply Management and Infor HR Talent, follow these steps to enable shared data.

Log into Infor HR Talent as Administrator.
Select Utilities > Shared Data Enablement.
From the Shared Data Enablement page, select FINANCE.
Click the Review enablement link on the FINANCE row.
On the Shared Data Enablement page, select Yes or No for the Do you have data in Infor Global HR to compare to Finance? question.
If you answered No, click the Save button. If you answered Yes, check these steps, then click the Save button:
- Do all of your Global HR Currencies exist in Finance?
- Have you created the appropriate Finance Enterprise Groups in Finance?
- Have you created the appropriate Currency Tables in Finance for each Finance Enterprise Group?
- For the appropriate Finance Enterprise Groups, do all Currency Relationships from Global HR exist in Finance?
- For the appropriate Currency Tables, do all Currency Exchange Rates from Global HR exist in Finance?
Click the Enable Shared Finance Data button. You must then contact Infor Support to complete the shared data enablement process by restarting the server environment. Shared data cannot be enabled until the server environment is restarted to initiate the configuration.
After Infor Support has completed the shared data enablement process, you can verify that shared data has been enabled and resolve any data complications. See Verifying shared data enablement.
