Canceling and deleting sessions

Only open sessions can be canceled. Since proposed sessions are not available for enrollment, logically, they cannot be canceled. Sessions with any participants cannot be deleted, you must cancel or move the enrollments to another session.
  1. Select Learning and Development > Catalog > Activities And Sessions > Define Activities And Sessions.
  2. Locate and select the activity for which to cancel or delete a session.
  3. To cancel a session:
    1. On the Active Sessions tab, right-click or open the session to cancel.
    2. If the session has no participants, select Cancel Session.

      or

      If the session has participants, select Cancel Session and Participants to cancel the session and all enrollments altogether, or select Cancel Session and Move Participants to cancel the session and move participants to another session.

    3. Select Cancellation Reason.
      Note: Cancellation reasons are defined in Administrator > Set Up.
    4. If moving the participants to another session, select the new session.
    5. Click Submit.
  4. To delete a session:
    1. On the Active Sessions tab, right-click the session to delete.
    2. Click Delete
    3. Specify the effective date.
    4. Click Submit.
