Setting up email automation for mentor actions

To automatically send an email for an action, you must set the action to Automatic Email and attach a template. If you attach two templates, two emails will be sent at the same time.

  1. Select Learning and Development > Manage Mentors > Email Automation.
  2. Specify this information:
    Effective Date

    Specify the date on which the email automation settings take effect.

    Email rule 1

    For each action for which an automatic email is to be sent, select Automatic Email.

    Email template 1

    If you selected Automatic Email for any action in Email Rule 1, select the template to be used for that action.

    Email rule 2

    For each action for which a second automatic email is to be sent, select Automatic Email.

    Email template 2

    If you selected Automatic Email for any action in Email rule 2, select the template to be used for that action.

  3. Click Save.
